I wanted a few big grassy-topped rocks along the observatory road. The first pass looked like a wall someone had assembled in a hurry.
I tried larger rock masses, a closer fit and another look around the later version. The video skips the long stretches where I stare at the same join wondering why it looks wrong. You're welcome.
It still isn't the finished cliff. I rejected the skinny repeated pieces and kept the larger hand-placed direction, but the joins need more work.
There was a less funny reason to stop: while I was testing the cliff tools, one Unity terrain tile regenerated from an older height state. I kept the before snapshot and a newer checkpoint, then paused the fix so I wouldn't overwrite any live sculpting. The Blender study did not change the island master.
So the cliff is paused, not abandoned. I can return to it once the terrain state is settled.
