Field note 03 / The post office /

Airborne. Obviously.

The logo needed to say what this game is about. So naturally, I put Rusty and Bonita in a situation neither of them has properly thought through.

Game identity artwork · Rusty, Bonita and some questionable choices.

Dear diary, neither of them has read the delivery instructions.

Rusty and Bonita needed to be part of the logo itself. They are the heart of this game: a broke courier with big plans, and a very opinionated vehicle along for the ride.

The answer was obvious. Put them in the air, scatter a few parcels, and let their questionable choices do the talking.

More island. More personality.

The look follows the tropical concept art: dark jungle greens, bright orange, cream lettering and palms everywhere. The body text gets to have some fun too.

Bonita is more than a particular vehicle body. Her personality is the constant, even as her wheels and body develop. This artwork captures the current character and vehicle concept.

The dev diary is part of that same trip: postcards from a game taking shape, with the occasional parcel falling out of the back.

See you at the next stop.
