Field note 10 / The farm road /

Two deliveries, too many monkeys.

One parcel goes uphill. The other asks Bonita to cross a river on moving logs.

Montagna Verde design concept showing two signposted delivery routes
Design concept for two farm deliveries. The routes are ideas, not a built level.

The coconut farm was trying to be one big destination. It might be funnier as two deliveries that go wrong in different directions.

The first route climbs through palms to the farmhouse, past monkeys and chickens with very little respect for a delivery schedule. The second heads for the logging factory across the river. My current bad idea is to make Bonita hop over moving palm-log bundles to get there. Vehicle Frogger, more or less. I haven't proved it's fun.

These are the design concepts. I put the idea over the current Montagna Verde terrain to see whether the fork in the road reads clearly. It does in the picture. The island still needs the actual paths, crossings and gameplay.

The rest of the mountain hasn't disappeared

The wider mountain plan still has the secret track to Papa's, a possible harvest chute and Windmill Ridge. This close-up hasn't cancelled any of them. The coconut cannon may find a home here too, once I know what the reward should be.

For now I'm keeping the drawing and the question: would landing a tuk-tuk on wet moving timber be fun, or merely cruel to Bonita?
